Juleika - 2001 Mare
Born in Germany and imported by Green Valley Farm as a weanling, Juleika has outstanding bloodlines. She placed 2nd at an international weanling competition in Denmark and won many German shows as well. Juleika is a strong mover in all disciplines. She excels when challenged. Ridden english, western or driven, this young mare has a determination like no other. She is well-mannered, quiet and eager to please. She is a great choice for novice to experienced riders looking to excel in the show ring. Juleika let her true colors show through at the NFHR 25th Anniversary show in Winona, MN. She walked away with a blue ribbon in conformation, a gold medallion of quality in advanced driving, reserve champion mare at halter and an Award of Excellence from Norway as the Top Mare.

Happy Holidays to all!
As we bid good-bye to fall we have much for which to be thankful. All friends and family (2 and 4 legged) are in good health and spirits. The anticipation of snow is upon us and the joy that fills our hearts as we hook up to the sleigh for the first time is soon to be felt. Enjoy the holiday season, time with family and friends and most of all enjoy snuggling under a warm quilt as you set out for a winter wonderland excursion with your Fjord. For those of you who don't experience mounds of snow this season, think warm thoughts for us.
NFHR 25th Anniversary
The 25th Celebration was a wonderful experience. It was great to see old friends and make new ones. Thank you to all who participated and helped make this event possible. We wouldn't have had such an amazing turnout without your efforts.

GVF had many reasons to celebrate at the end of the 25th. We brought 5 horses to the show. Each came home with bragging rights.
Kastanjegardens Fernando:
Blue ribbon in NFHR conformation with a score of 86, which is one of the highest scored stallions ever. He also received a 9.5 on his trot.

Blue Ribbons: 87-Intro driving, 84-Advanced english & 82-Intro english. A Silver level 2 & a Gold level 4 Medallion of quality. 3rd place Get-of-sire (he is one of the youngest stallions)

GVF Sjokolade (Hershey):
1st place in young stock halter (all the judges put him in frist place). NFHR 25TH GRAND CHAMPION STALLION

Juleika:
Blue ribbon: 80-Adv driving, Blue ribbon in conformation. Silver & Gold level 4 Medallions of Quality & Award of Excellence from Norway as their choice Top Mare. NFHR 25TH RESERVE CHAMPION MARE

GVF Katrina: Silver level 4 Medallion of Quality for western riding.

GVF Maja: Blue ribbon: 80-Intro driving. Red ribbon: 72-Intro english. Silver level 2 Medallion of Quality in english riding and driving.
