Winter Is Over... Finally! |
Winter in Northwest Illinois came in with a
bang and decided to stay awhile. The Fjords
felt right at home in the cold and wind.
But spring has arrived and with its arrival
we are expecting the birth of three foals.
A Kastanjegardens Fernando x Sandura foal
due to arrive April 15th. A Tico x GVF Maja
foal due to arrive April 23rd and a GVF
Sjokolade x Sterda foal due May 5th.
These foals will be available for sale
after weaning in about four months.

Custom Breeding Program |
We provide one of our top-rated mares and either one of our
champion stallions or another stallion’s genetic make-up to
deliver a foal with amazing potential. If you either do not own a
mare of your own but wish to experience the joys of a foal this
program is for you.We guarantee a live and healthy foal which
will be released to you upon weaning around 4 months of age.
At that point the foal will be halter broke, use to being clipped
and capable of working with a farrier as well as loading in a trailer.
All shots and health inspections will be up-to-date. As the new
owner of the foal you are more than welcome (and encouraged)
to visit the mare at any time prior to and after foaling. A strong
bond can be achieved with many visits under your belt. Naming
of the foal is strictly up to you.
Following is a listing of available Mares and Stallions. Some are
available on the web site, all are available on the NFHR pedigree
search. Click individual names to go directly to their pedigrees.
